Liverpool FC have officially unveiled on the LFC Store their brand-new home kit for the 2024/25 season, which is a modern remix of the edition worn by the Reds en route to European Cup glory in Rome 40 years ago.
The retro kit design, remixed for the modern game, features a chrome yellow pattern of the club’s YNWA motto etched into the fabric of the shirt.
Its jersey has a unique collar with traditional yellow and red detailing, a nod to the iconic collar worn by the ’84 team led by Joe Fagan, who lifted the European Cup in Rome that year wearing this original kit. Both the shirt and shorts have yellow and white side panelling.
The host city of the 1984 final is also the inspiration for the creative photography campaign.
