The Boss has confirmed Luis Diaz is to undergo further assessment on an issue sustained in training during Red’s Dubai camp. The forward missed the training sessions with teammates on December 8 and 9.
Klopp told: “It’s all good [fitness-wise] with the boys who are here. What’s not good is we have to see with Lucho. He felt something and we need to have further assessment there, but apart from that they all look really, really good.”
The last match for Liverpool this season, the Colombian played back in early October, appearing on the field in the starting line-up in the game against Arsenal. In that match at the Emirates, Luis Diaz injured his knee and was out of action, as expected, for several months.
