Liverpool departed for the United Arab Emirates on Monday, December 5, where they will begin a two-week preparations for the second half of the season.

The club season is on pause due to the World Cup in Qatar. And Liverpool players not involved in the tournament were on a short vacation. However, the Reds will gather in Dubai, which will begin a training camp. 7 players involved from Liverpool to Qatar, so Jurgen Klopp will have most of the first team and youth at his disposal. During the training camp, players currently participating in the World Cup will rejoin the squad, with Darwin Nunez set to arrive next week.

Liverpool will face Olympique Lyonnais on December 11 and AC Milan on December 16 in two matches in the Dubai Super Cup. Immediately after they return to Merseyside ahead of the League Cup (Carabao Cup) tie with Manchester City on December 22.

Reds squad for training camp in Dubai:

Goalkeeper: Kelleher, Adrian, Davies, Mrozek and Pitaluga.
Defenders: Phillips, Gomez, Matip, Robertson, Tsimikas, Ramsay, Quansah and Chambers.
Midfielders: Thiago, Elliott, Milner, Jones, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Keita*, Carvalho, Bajcetic, Arthur*, Cain, Corness and Gordon.
Forwards: Salah, Firmino, Diaz*, Nunez, Jota*, Clark, Stewart, Doak and Frauendorf.

* – will continue to work on their individual rehabilitation programmes from their respective injuries in Dubai.
