On October 17, the prestigious France Football magazine is presenting awards at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris.

Traditionally, several awards were presented at the ceremony. In addition to the Ballon d’Or, the same award went to the best female footballer, the Raymond Kop trophy, the Lev Yashin trophy, the Gerd Müller trophy, the Socrates trophy and the Best Club of the Year trophy.

The Reds had six players in the final Ballon d’Or 2022 rankings, with Mo Salah coming in 5th place. No.11 improved on his 2021 ranking where he ended in the 7th place. Ex-Liverpool player Sadio Mane take a 2th place. The final 30 also included: Fabinho, Virgil van Dijk, Luis Diaz, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Darwin Nunez.
