First matchday at European campaign and prepare for the game

The Reds’ European campaign kicked off on 7 September with an unsuccessful away match against Napoli in Naples. The favorites of the first matchday lost with a score of 4:1, and occupy the third line of group A.

Ajax, Liverpool’s opponent on the second matchday, on the contrary, won a confident victory at home against the Rangers. The Dutch team scored 4 unanswered goals.

In the case of Ajax, this is the second time Liverpool and Amsterdam have been placed in the same group in just three years.
