Ballon d’Or 2022
France Football have released the 30-player shortlist for the 2022 Ballon d’Or, which will crown the best individual male player of the 2021/22 season. And six Liverpool players nominated for 2022 Ballon d’Or. The winner of the award will be revealed at a ceremony in Paris on October 17, 2022.
Liverpool players Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Luis Diaz, Fabinho and Darwin Nunez have been nominated for the prestigious individual prize.
This will be a first time the vote is based on a player’s achievements during the season, rather than the calendar year.

Yashin Trophy 2022
The best performing goal-keeper of the season will be awarded the Yashin Trophy and Alisson Becker has received a nomination for the individual prize.
Alisson, who recorded 27 clean sheets for Liverpool last season, is joined on the 10-man shortlist. The recipient of the prize will be announced during the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris on October 17, 2022.

Golden Boy 2022
Nominees at 2022 Harvey Elliott and Fabio Carvalho remain in the running for the 2022 Golden Boy award following the publication of the latest shortlist.
Award organisers Tuttosport have announced the 60 contenders left for the prestigious annual honor from an original count of 100. The candidates are being reduced by 20 each month until the winner is announced at a ceremony in Turin later this year. The Golden Boy award recognises the achievements of players under the age of 21 at top-flight clubs in European football.
Men’s Coach of the Year 2022
Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp is included in the final three-man shortlist of the 2021-22 UEFA Men’s Coach of the Year award for the accolade alongside Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid) and Pep Guardiola (Manchester City).
The recipient of the prize will be announced the 2022/23 Champions League group stage draw ceremony in Istanbul on 25 August, 2022.
Klopp guided Liverpool to the maximum number of games it was possible to play last season, reaching the FA Cup, League Cup and Champions League finals. The Reds lifted their first FA Cup since 2006, as well as capturing the League Cup. In the Premier League, Liverpool is 1 point behind Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
Ancelotti guided Real Madrid to Champions League glory, beating Klopp’s Liverpool in the final in Paris. The Italian, who had previously won the trophy with Real in 2014, as well as AC Milan in 2003 and 2007, also secured Los Blancos their 35th La Liga title.
Guardiola, meanwhile, won a fourth Premier League title with Manchester City in the space of the last five years. The club also reached the Champions League semi-finals, beaten by Real Madrid in a dramatic second leg turnaround that forced extra-time.
