Earlier this month during draw in Monaco, the opponents of Liverpool in the group-stage of the Europa League have become find out. Since reaching the final of the 2016 Europa League, this is the Merseysiders’ first campaign in Europe’s second biggest competition.
The Reds will face Austrian LASK, Belgian Union and French Toulouse in the group E of the 2023/24 Europa League.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will begin their journey in the competition on September 21. The Reds’ campaign begins away at LASK, before a meeting with Union SG at Anfield. Back-to-back clashes with Toulouse are then followed by a home tie versus LASK, and the group phase concludes with a trip to Union SG.
