The winger beats Martinez with ease before sliding it back to the Netherlands forward, who dinks the ball over De Gea from the tightest of angles of the right side of the six yard box to send The Kop wild!

66′. 4:0. GOAL, Mo Salah 128 goal in the league like Robbie Fowler! The Reds counter-attack at speed and the ball falls to Egyptian winger just inside the penalty box after two pass attempts by Nunez. No.11 firing and the ball hits the underside of the bar and goes in.

75′. 5:0. GOAL, another for Nunez! Alexander-Arnold’s free-kick delivery being cleared as far as Henderson. The Reds skipper stands up a neat crosses from the left, and Nunez finds the top-right corner beyond the De Gea with a deft header.

83′. 6:0. GOAL, RECORD BREAKER! Another for Mo! Elliott has so much space on the right to find No.9 the near post. Firmino is tackled, the United man sees his clearance bounce back off forward into Salah’s path who finishes first-time.

88′. 7:0. GOAL, Firmino gets his goal! Salah is involved as the Reds attack down the right, and the Egyptian cuts inside to slip a lovely ball into Firmino. No.9 slides through De Gea’s legs in a seventh for Liverpool from close range.

Mohamed Salah becomes Liverpool’s record Premier League scorer.
No.11 scored his 129th top-flight goal for the Reds, and he moved ahead of Robbie Fowler, who plundered 128 Premier League goals across his two spells at Anfield, with Steven Gerrard 120 goals in third place.
