56′. 2:0. GOAL! Nunez slides a pass into the path of Jones’ run into the left hand channel of the area. He’s at a tight angle and looks for a teammate before sliding a left-foot shot through the legs of Areola and into the corner. Lovely stuff.
71′. 3:0. GOAL! Konate charges forward through the middle of the pitch before laying it left to Gakpo. The forward cuts back in onto his right before dispatching an unerring low reverse shot into the near post from just outside the box.
77′. 3:1. Bowen beats Quansah to a ball forward, cuts back in onto his right and curls a shot beyond Kelleher.
82′. 4:1. GOAL! Alexander-Arnold pings a long pass forward to Mo Salah! The Egyptian clean through, low and into the far corner.
84′. 5:1. GOAL! Jones collects possession midway inside the Liverpool half and slaloms his way beyond a couple of attempted challenges before rasping a shot into the far corner from near the penalty spot.
