30′. 1:0. GOAL! Well-worked opener. The play culminates with Mac Allister setting up Jota on the left side of the penalty area. Jota tries to slot the ball across the goal and into the far corner. Hermansen manages to block the initial shot, but Nunez is perfectly positioned to capitalize on the rebound.
35′. 2:0. GOAL! A first ever Liverpool goal for Clark! The young midfielder confidently sweeps the ball into the net with a first-time strike, courtesy of Salah’s well-placed pass. The finish was precise and faultless.
38′. 3:0. GOAL! No.11 delivers a cross up into the center of the box from an inside right position, using his left foot. Jota perfectly times his run and skillfully guides a delicate header beyond goalkeeper, finding the corner of the net with precision.
64′. 4:0. GOAL! Another maiden goal, this time for Doak! At the back post, he redirects Matip’s flick from a Szoboszlai corner into the net with a well-executed header.
